What We Believe
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We invite you to worship with
us and attend some of our events. Our primary outreach is to Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual, Transgender people, their family, friends and anyone who shares our
vision. We see one's sexual orientation as a God-given gift and part your unique
personality. Whether straight, trans-gendered, homosexual, gay, lesbian, or
bisexual, we were created by God in the image of God. In short, we are loved by
God as we are.
We endeavor to bind together people for the purpose of sharing in the worship of
God and to make God's Will dominant in the lives of all people. We strive to show
Christian love to ALL people in our daily lives.
We believe that there is one God of one substance and of three persons: God,
our Creator and Parent; Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, fully God,
and fully human; and the Holy Spirit, God as our Sustainer.
We believe that each person is a unique creation of God and is created in God’s
image. We strive to follow Jesus’ teaching to love one another and to live our
lives with integrity and as good stewards of God’s gifts. We believe the Holy Spirit
continues to make known God’s love and interest to all people and is available to
and working through all who are willing to place their welfare in God’s keeping.
We consider all our members to be ministers. Our pastor is here to equip us in
our ministry. We place importance on relationships that are positive, healthy, and
happy. We believe that people should be responsible as singles and
monogamous as couples. We truly value harmony, and being in accord with one
another. We are dedicated to living authentic lives that are healthy, whole, and
holy.
